What We Believe

We believe that God has created us to live in right relationship (Shalom) with him, and then with ourselves, others, and the world. We have all broken shalom with God and subsequently with those other three relationships as well. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and no one is reconciled to God except through him. This is made possible through the death and resurrection of Jesus. Our vision is to see shalom breakers becoming shalom makers. For this reason SunWest exists to guide all people into a lifelong authentic relationship with Jesus Christ. We want to see people thrive, not just survive.

SunWest is a part of the Canadian Mennonite Brethren Conference. Our core beliefs are articulated in the Mennonite Brethren Confession of Faith.
