Missions

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations

Matthew 28:19

It won't take you very long to realize that supporting missionaries and participating in mission experiences is a core part of SunWest's DNA.
God's church doesn't have a mission... God's mission has a church.
Partner with one of our supported missionaries, or jump into a cross-cultural mission opportunity yourself.
When we partner with God to create change in our world the most profound change often happens in us.

Kingdom Partnerships

SunWest regularly partners with a couple of organizations for short-term mission opportunities. Our house building initiatives provide a tangible opportunity for every SunWester to serve practically in a cross-cultural experience. Not only do these experiences support ministries that are on the ground 365 days a year, they are opportunities for us to be transformed as we serve others.

Amor Ministries

SunWest has been sending youth and leaders down to northern Mexico for over 25 years to build houses. Since day 1 we have done this in partnership with Amor Ministries. Every spring break we send around 100 students and leaders to make a change and to be changed.

Shelter Canada

Since 2006, SunWest has been sending groups of people to El Salvador to provide home, safety, and opportunity.  We've been part of Shelter Canada since its inception. Shelter has built over 5,200 homes and counting.  Shelter now employs a staff of over 50 Salvadorans. Join a trip and experience it for yourself!
