We know that attending church for the first time can be overwhelming and intimidating, so we are here to put your mind at ease. By answering all of your questions and equipping you with everything you need to know before you even show up, we hope to make your first time one that the whole family will remember. It is our hope that during your time here you will find yourself at home. Our services typically run for about 80 minutes, but feel free to hang around, grab more coffee, and connect with others before or after the service.
Worship
Our services begin with a time of powerful and engaging corporate worship. Our entire worship experience is designed to lead you into an authentic encounter with God. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming. But it's far more than entertainment - music is a part of how we prepare to hear from God and how we respond to what God is saying. So come in with an open heart and mind... and expect God to do something in your life.
Teaching
After our worship experience you will hear a message that we hope will be relevant and applicable to your life. We believe the Bible is just as relevant today as the time it was written. We try to take the timeless truths of scripture so that you can understand them and apply them to your lives. The teaching at SunWest is creative and not boring; applicable and not confusing; challenging and not condemning.
SunWest Kids and
Junior High
SunWest Kids is our exciting collection of weekend service environments for children. From newborns to Junior High we have alternative programming if the parents so choose. (Kids are always welcome to stay with their parents in the service). We have nursery for the young ones, pre-school, and a K-5 group. After the worship time the Junior High Students (Grade 6-8) will be dismissed for Junior High Conversations.
Connection
At SunWest, you'll find a lot of regular people - people who laugh and love and struggle and cheer for their favourite team just ike you. You'll not only meet great people here, but you'll find welcoming and comfortable spaces to hang out with friends, enjoy some coffee, and experience life-giving community.
