We have programming for each age group at SunWest. But it isn't just programming so that parents can "go to church". Along with having way too much fun, our leaders also teach our children to worship, read the Bible for themselves, and how to listen and hear the voice of God. If you ask us, we think this is the most exciting place to be on the weekend!
Nursery
The nursery is located upstairs, right outside the auditorium. After you check your child in, there are adults there who are ready to love on your child. If you need to be contacted for any reason, you will receive a code at check-in that will notify you during the service. With the short distance, amazing volunteers, and communication system, we trust you can fully engage in the adult service.
Preschool
Preschool is also located upstairs in the children's wing. Along with games and activities, the preschool kids will engage in a developmentally appropriate and fun lesson tailored just for them, using One Story Curriculum.
K-5
Our kindergarten to grade 5 students are located downstairs after they are checked in. The morning is packed full of games that are way too fun for church ("gaga ball" is a notorious favourite), worship through singing, an engaging lesson for them, and Elementary Students have small group time where they connect with other kids in their grade with their designated small group leaders.
PD Day Camps
During the school year, SunWest offers affordable, purpose-driven childcare on CBE Professional Development Days.
If your child is off school on a Friday for a PD Day, they’re invited to join us - and invite a friend - for a full day of fun, activities, and learning. These camps are run in partnership with Camp Evergreen.

Join us July 20-25 for an unforgettable week of adventure, fun, and discovery. Registration opens in March, so keep an eye out!
We’re offering:
- Half-Day Preschool Camp
- Ages 4-5
- $100 for the week
- Full-Day Elementary Camp
- Ages Entering Kingdergarden-Grade 5
- $175 for the week
Students who want to be part of the action as Junior Leaders must be at least 13 years old to volunteer.
