Children

The nursery is located upstairs, right outside the auditorium. After you check your child in, there are adults there who are ready to love on your child. If you need to be contacted for any reason, you will receive a code at check-in that will notify you during the service. With the short distance, amazing volunteers, and communication system, we trust you can fully engage in the adult service.

Preschool is also located upstairs in the children's wing. Along with games and activities, the preschool kids will receive an age-appropriate lesson tailored just for them.

Our kindergarten to grade 5 students are located downstairs after they are checked in. The morning is packed full of games that are way too fun for church ("gaga ball" is a notorious favourite), worship through singing, an engaging lesson for them, and small group time where they connect with other kids in their grade with their designated small group leaders.

During the school year, SunWest provides multiple opportunities for affordable child care with a purpose during the CBE Professional Development Days.  So if your child doesn't have school on a Friday due to a PD day, consider joining us and invite their friends for a packed day of fun and learning. These camps are put on in partnership with Camp Evergreen.
