The gateway to an authentic relationship with Jesus is through prayer and guidance to hear God's voice. We will organize a personalized and individual prayer session to help you find freedom and live the life that God is calling you to. What is InSight Prayer?
InSight Prayer assists in identifying and removing barriers that hinder our connection with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It re-establishes his gift of Shalom within our heart, mind, soul, and spirit, enabling us to walk in the fullness of our God-given destiny.
InSight Prayer is simple, effective, and Spirit‐led. Intentional time with the Lord helps to remove the clutter of our daily lives, so we can have a clear perspective again.
During an InSight Prayer session, two InSight Prayer team members will facilitate a conversation between you and the Lord. With the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit, they will suggest questions for you to ask God, and lead you in prayers that invite his love, grace, and truth into your life.
The InSight Prayer team believes EVERY person can hear God’s voice and the most life‐changing moments are when he speaks to our hearts.

We encourage you to make an appointment for InSight Prayer if you:
- feel you are not growing in your relationship with God,
- are concerned you are not hearing God,
- long for greater freedom,
- desire greater intimacy with God,
- would love an intentional and focused time of talking with God.

Who will be praying with me?
Two InSight Prayer team members will guide you through the prayer session. Men pray with men and women with women.
How long is an InSight Prayer session?
An InSight Prayer session is around 2 hours long.
Will I have to share things I don't want to?
Absolutely not. Your InSight Prayer time is completely Holy Spirit led. Our Lord is gentle and kind and will only lead you
to places that you are willing to go. InSight Prayer is not about exposing sin, rather it removes hindrances. Everything in your prayer time is completely confidential.
Will I have to keep coming back for InSight Prayer?
Generally, a follow up appointment is not necessary. Your session will equip you with “tools” that can be used in your
daily walk with the Lord.
Is InSight Prayer like counselling?
InSight Prayer is NOT counselling, nor does it replace counselling.
Who is the InSight Prayer Team accountable to?
The InSight Prayer Team is accountable to the leaders of SunWest Church.
What if I am interested in being a part of the InSight Prayer Team?
