It started with a simple, bold idea: What if we drove to Mexico to build homes for families in need?
That idea took root nearly 30 years ago - and it’s still shaping lives today.
Every spring break, SunWest youth and volunteers pack into a convoy of 15-passenger vans and head south to serve. Since 1998, in partnership with Amor Ministries, we’ve helped build over 130 homes for families in Mexico.
This trip is about more than construction. It’s about stepping outside your comfort zone, serving side-by-side, and discovering how faith grows when it’s put into action. Friendships are formed, perspectives are changed, and lives - including your own - are impacted. This is more than a trip. It’s an experience you won’t forget.
